TROULAKIS BEACH
The West Crete has a particular attractiveness! – despite of, that the seaside holiday villages blend into one, but each beach has a unique atmosphere. The Troulakis Beach is a continuation of the Agia Marina coast, but the beach part is narrower, therefore more familiar, and direct. The Troulakis Beach is: “the beach of contradictions”!
GPS is very important! – because no street names in Western Crete.

– the part towards Agia Marina is sandier, in this part the sand under our feet is also dominant in the sea, but this changes as we move towards Platanias
– the beach is still sandy, but [swpm_protected format_protected_msg=”1″] a people have to be careful when entering the sea, because along the shore you can clearly see that there are smooth polished stones in the water
– despite the stones, the water temperature is pleasant in the summer months
– the beach part is less wide, but nevertheless there are many umbrellas and sunbeds available for rent
– both guests and locals love this stretch of coast: it is more crowded in summer: but not too crowded! [/swpm_protected]

Everyone can find, what they would like, on the beach:
– the pleasantly warm sea water attracts bathers
– lovers of water sports can also be satisfied
– the delicious food of the coastal restaurants, the cold drinks and cocktails will refresh You
– trees along the coast provide natural shade
– the palm trees strengthen the Mediterranean atmosphere
