The Stavros Beach is located nord west coast of the Akrotiri Peninsula. Chania 15 km, Agia Triada Tzagaroli Monastery 8,5 km, Gouverneto Monastery 11 km, Kissamos 60 km.
Stavros beach is a sandy bay, from where is a beautiful view of the mountains.
The average seawater temperature in May is 19.6 degrees Celsius.

But the temperature of seawater during the day, already reaches 22 degrees Celsius in May, because the water at the entrance to the bay is shallow, therefore, the sun heats the water more easily.
The mountains give the bay a unique atmosphere in May.
We already see people bathing in the water, with snowy mountain peaks in the background. It’s a unique experience.
The bay is recommended for families with small children, and recommended for all ages.
Sunbeds and parasols can be rented on the coast.
On the other side of the bay we can see fishing boats.
With these fishing boats, fishermen provide fresh fish every day, for restaurants in the area.
At the port part, the sandy shore changes. This part of the bay is very beautiful but rocky, stony.
Stavros beach is a very cozy bay.
